Blessings – Family
It’d be tempting to say my family is picture-perfect, but let’s be real—it’s more like a beautifully chaotic collage of mismatched puzzle pieces. Between the bumps, the learning curves, and the belly-aching laughter, this “perfectly imperfect” crew is my greatest joy.
Navigating life with family—whether it’s adolescents, young adults, parents, or siblings—feels a lot like juggling flaming bowling pins: equal parts thrilling, unpredictable, and occasionally singe-inducing. Everyone has their own 1,000 lb idea they’re set on, the kind you just can’t move no matter how much you’d like to. And sometimes, you find yourself wanting to step in, guide, or even redirect their path entirely—but that’s not always your call.
There are moments to mold, moments to let go, and moments to trust that the higher power has a plan far bigger than yours. It’s not always easy to watch, but it’s all part of the messy, beautiful dynamic of family life. In the end, it’s not about controlling the outcome; it’s about embracing the journey—even if it’s messy, loud, and full of surprises.
